Day #57 - The London Mine


This is a shot from the top of the London Mine. I saw this from below and knew I had to get on top to get a picture. I really loved the view from up here and am happy to share it with everyone. I felt like it was truly a breath-taking view (especially as I was quite winded after walking up to the top of the mine in the high altitude!).

Shot spex: RAW Image, Pentax K10D, ISO 800, 24mm, f19, 1/125 sec., no flash, Circular Polarizer Filter used.

PhotoShop spex: Smart Sharpened (as always) and adjusted Levels.

  1. I like the shot a lot. I think the composition works really well and I like that you kept your DOF so broad so that the mountains in the background are so sharp.
